Ain’t Life Great

Born at my breeders home in Slough

On April 25th Nineteen Ninety Three

With tender loving care and mopping of brow

Two lovely sisters, Pippa, Becky and me

My first name was Oliver, you may wonder why

With big brown eyes and a cute little face

Always wanting more, who me! No not I

The kitchen my favourite place

I moved house in September of this year

Seven months old, scared and wobbly at the knee

Not to worry though, lots of cuddles not many a tear

Living with the Sedman’s as you can see

With a posh new name, how big is my head

Lynard Gold Nugget, now it’s time to strut my stuff

A busy time lay ahead, no time to stay home in bed

Between training and shows, all groomed up maybe pass

for a powder puff

Six years on, trophy’s and cups to my name

Agility and dancing to music! I’ll give it a try

First show, here’s my big chance for fame

It went so well we just wanted to cry

Even though I’m nearly Eight

Bright eyes, cute face and bushy tail

Don’t think I’m not checking out your plate

At this little trick I can still excel

Ain’t Life Great
